This Terms and Policy Agreement ("Agreement") governs the services provided by Traditional Plumbing and Drain ("Company") to its customers ("Customer"). By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined herein.
1. Services Provided
Traditional Plumbing and Drain specializes in plumbing and drain services, including but not limited to:
- General plumbing repairs
- Drain cleaning
- Water heater installation and repair
- Leak detection and repair
- Sewer line inspections and repairs
- Emergency plumbing services
2. Service Area
The Company provides services to residential and commercial properties within a 50-mile radius of Lancaster, California, including Los Angeles County.
3. Appointments and Cancellations
- Scheduling: Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Emergency services may be available based on technician availability.
- Cancellations: Customers must notify the Company at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule without penalty. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of $50.
- No-Show Policy: If the Customer is not present at the scheduled time and place of service, a $75 no-show fee may apply.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Estimates: The Company provides free estimates for most services. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
- Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements are made.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, major credit cards, and checks are accepted. A returned check fee of $35 applies to any bounced checks.
- Deposits: Certain projects may require a deposit. This will be clearly communicated to the Customer before service begins.
5. Warranty and Liability
- Workmanship Guarantee: The Company guarantees its workmanship for 90 days from the date of service. Specific products or parts may carry additional manufacturer warranties.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages caused by Customer negligence, misuse, or pre-existing conditions.
- Liability: The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including property damage resulting from unforeseen complications.
6. Permits and Compliance
The Company adheres to all applicable Los Angeles County regulations, including acquiring necessary permits for services requiring municipal approval. Permit fees are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise stated. LIC# 1120774
7. Emergency Services
Emergency plumbing services are subject to additional fees and availability. The Customer will be notified of these charges before service begins.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Access: The Customer must provide the Company with safe and reasonable access to the work area.
- Disclosure: The Customer must disclose any known issues, hazardous conditions, or relevant history of the plumbing system.
- Utilities: The Customer is responsible for locating and marking underground utilities unless otherwise agreed.
9. Termination
The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:
- The Customer fails to comply with this Agreement.
- The work environment is deemed unsafe.
- Unforeseen complications arise that exceed the scope of the agreed service.
10. Privacy Policy
The Company respects Customer privacy and will not share personal information with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law or to process payments.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Mediation or arbitration may be pursued before filing legal claims.
12. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend this Agreement. Updated terms will be communicated to the Customer prior to the next service.
